Impact of Educational Intervention on Knowledge and Attitude of Undergraduate Medical Students Regarding Pharmaceutical Promotion

Background: Promotional activities conducted by pharmaceutical industries are highly successful to alter physicians' prescribing habit. Undergraduate medical curriculum does not make students deal with this unwarranted effect. Educational intervention might be a key address crucial issue. The aim of study was evaluate the impact educational on knowledge and attitude regarding promotion.
 Materials methods: This interventional research from February 2016 2017. 4th year MBBS four colleges Dhaka city were population. A baseline assessment perception students' included (Control intervention) questionnaire survey. Number respondents in control group 156 243 respectively pre test. Then, package including interactive lecture practical session delivered group. After I month intervention, post data had been collected undergraduate effect their using same questionnaire. 152 227 Attitude evaluated structured after one intervention. Total participated survey.
 Results: Proportion about promotion is significantly increased (p<0.001). 10 different case scenarios related have changed it statistically significant all scenarios.
